FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process revolves around the client, you! First and foremost it's important to make sure that we have availability for your event/shoot. After making sure we're available we move forward to the details of the event/shoot and pricing. We will first have an initial conversation to get all the details figured out for your event/shoot. This is critical to make sure that we're on the same page. We want to get an idea of your vision and what you're expectations are. It definitely makes things go a lot smoother once everyone is on the same page! After figuring out key details like vision, expectations and price we move forward to preparation and planning. We want to make sure we bring the right equipment for the event/shoot. This includes cameras/lighting/backdrops. Beginning of the event/shoot we like to shoot a few pictures just to have you relax and be more comfortable in front of the camera. During the event/shoot we aim to get candid/traditional pictures. Post event we clean up and edit all images. We then create an online gallery for you to be able to view all the pictures. As soon as you decide everything looks good we package and post a CD or USB of your pictures.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 4 years of experience doing various events and shoots. We have also taken several photography courses through the Stromberg Photography Classes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into Photography because of my love for art and being able to capture precious moments. I love being there to capture that important moment in time, a moment that will hopefully be remembered forever through my images. This was never more true than my own experience taking a photo of my friend, who passed away 3 years ago. Four months before he died, I took a photo of him, on his birthday, that even he liked (and he never liked herself in photos). Four months later, he was gone and I am SO thankful to have that one photo. I will also tell you that there is nothing that makes me happier than to walk into a friend or neighbor's house and see, on their walls or mantle, countless family photos that I have taken for them over the years. Their sheer appreciation for the photos makes me love what I do.
