FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are very reasonable and extremely competitive this day in time. Though I have years of experience, I feel that should not come in the way of someone who still is trying to work within a budget. I'm willing work with people of all budgets and if we need to negotiate and or work out payment plans, we can do that. I do not want any client or potential client to pass up a shoot with me because they are unsure of pricing. It has been suggested I raise my prices (which is a compliment) but until then I find happiness in giving my customers a quality project they can feel happy with at a very fair price.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My customers range from business men to event planners, brides to recent college graduates. I shoot events for the state's largest newspaper. I am regularly hired to shoot food for restaurants in the Central Arkansas area. I love the change of scenery with event photography, I love the sweetness of newborns, I love getting to chat with individuals who are having their portraits made for their work or their modeling/acting portfolio. I've shot press conferences, parades, parties, bike races, runways...needless to say, there are few types I have to worked with. And I love the diversity my job brings!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Thumbtack has been a great source to connect me with new customers and clients. Many people do not know a photographer personally and they often find themselves going to Thumbtack for help. I am thankful to be a reliable professional who can deliver what they may be looking for. Note: Customers may not know this, but we as professionals pay a fee for every quote we send that results in a reply. Each job varies but if the customer replies to a quote--even if it's one sentence or one question--the professional is charged. Then it's up to the customer to hire them. If they are not hired, they still get charged. Soooo...often times if a customer does not get a reply from anyone, it could be that the professional is not sure the customer is serious about their request and they don't want to take a chance without knowing what the customer is shopping for. Just being honest: it helps professionals when the customer is sincere, detailed with what they want, and willing to communicate with each other.
