Without exception, all of our staff have benefited from mental health counseling. We are here because we want to provide clients with a premium level of service that is accessible and affordable. We've noticed that people thrive when obstacles to growth are removed, more than adding new programs for self help. We know that people are born with a natural ability to heal and grow. Our clinical methods are client centered, evidence based and represent the state of the art in psychotherapy. We make sure that your provider is an excellent match for both your personality and your specific challenges. You can thrive, we can help!

Jay is wonderful and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He has given me life tools that I apply everyday and some of them I don't know how I have lived without.

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everyone comes from a different situation, a different experience in life and we meet clients where they are in their own experience. Generally each session contains four elements. We introduce ourselves and our background, then we learn about the client's background and what brings them in for counseling. We set a goal for therapy and assure the client that we have helped dozens of people in situations similar to the client's own experience. And we give a tool that they can practice during the time until the next appointment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our staff are highly trained and highly qualified experienced professionals. They are licensed or registered with the State of Colorado. We ourselves have benefited and grown through life experiences. We share our experience and professional abilities to help others experience a better life, and see things in a new way.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
Couples $124 Individuals: $88 The prices quoted above are our cash pay price and provide relief for those with high insurance deductibles.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We believe it is our mission in life to be counselors and have been given the natural skill set for counseling. Just as some people are called to be artists or professional athletes, we are called to be counselors. Our counselors are gifted in this way and, therefore, we've seen amazing results. We started Thriveworks to make counseling accessible and client centered and to serve in this way.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Adults, couples, and adolescents dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship discord, conflict resolution, career and life transitions, trauma, grief, codependency, and social isolation. We specialize in helping discern purpose in life, strengths based career counseling and spiritual growth and discovery. Our personal experiences in recovery have helped people new in sobriety and those living in sober living environments. We provide tools for better communication, understanding values and decision-making.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Within six sessions, a couple on the brink of separation, improved their communication, learned new things about one another's perceptions. They began to share love and appreciation again in a deeper way for one another. They have re-committed to their marriage, are willing and able to plan for their future and are excited. t.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
" Look for a counselor who has personal experience in overcoming your pressing issues and one who has had success in helping others through such experiences. It's important that a counselor is someone you feel comfortable with, someone who feels approachable, supportive, uplifting and is proactive and willing to meet you where you are at, to deal with the issues you want to deal with.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
None. The important thing is to begin counseling. Thinking through questions is what a counselor is for. The counselor will help you think things through and explore the best answers and alternatives for you.
