FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will give a bid for the full job, I do not bid out to be paid hourly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will sit down and go over exactly what they want. I will then get the customer an estimate in writing with exactly what they should plan on spending to complete the project. If the client chooses to go with Columbine Handyman for their work, I will sit down a second time to confirm all details of work to be completed, set project dates, and give final costs in contract form.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been doing handyman and remodeling work my whole life. My first experience was remodeling houses withe my dad at the age of 8 (30+ years ago). I worked along side him most my life. I worked construction through college to pay tuition, and completed an associates in fine woodworking in adulthood.
