- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is very event specific and includes some variables like distance, type, delivery of finished photos. For instance, if you're farther away and want a hard drive of final photos we would ask that those extra expenses are added into the price. In addition, to cover any travel overhead we ask for a 50$ fee over 30+ miles.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to always start with asking the customer more details about their event so we can better understand their needs and style as well as build a professional creative relationship. Next, once we have a better understanding we move forward with details like a photographer/client contract to get the agreement of service in place. Then, we send a PayPal or Venmo invoice to get a 50% deposit before the event and the other 50% the day of the event.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I think its in my blood! I have always heard the stories of family photographers thought generations capturing genuine and authentic family moments. A lot of guidance and intrigue comes from those early years and being able to as an adult look back at the memories made.
