FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
To book a session, there is a nonrefundable session fee of $200 ($250 for seniors). This reserves your session date in my schedule and includes my time and talent for preparing for, shooting, and editing your session images. Most lifestyle sessions last about 90 minutes (longer for seniors). There is no minimum product purchase; print prices begin at $35 and wall art at $150. A wide range of heirloom products are available, including canvas, framed art, metal prints, albums, and much more. My typical client investment is $500 and up.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will first chat with a potential client via email or phone to determine if we might be a good fit. I like to schedule a pre-session consultation to discuss the goals for the session, the location, wardrobe, what they would like to do with their images, and any other considerations. I also have clients fill out a questionnaire to be sure I get all the information I need to customize their session precisely for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken numerous courses on technical camera skills, composition, use of natural light, posing, family and documentary photography, and more. I take my camera with me whenever possible to capture my own family and life and to continue practicing and learning as much as I can. I love spending time behind the lens and sharing my photography with clients.
