I have been working with Steven Collins and Troubadour Image + Sound since October of 2010. The experience has been nothing short of inspiring; even spiritual sometimes. I began as a timid songwriter with some decent songs. Steven and his team worked with me and have helped me realize those songs to an extent I'd never dreamed possible, even motivated me to continue writing more. The studio is super comfortable, with a certain cozy/medieval vibe that keeps you in the right zone throughout your stay. And everyone I've worked with there has been incredibly talented, while maintaining that modesty that makes them easy to talk to, get along with, work with and even develop lasting friendships. Sometimes Steven will even put on his apron and cook up something killer for dinner. It's all part of the experience, which makes you feel as though you're hanging out in your own living room, collaborating with your friends. Working with Troubadour Image + Sound has taught me so much about my own music and my own talent. Each session is a unique gift, and I'm always looking forward to the next.

Working with the fine folks at Troubadour Image + Sound was effortless. They listened to our vision and brought it to life, adding touches that my business partner and I would never have considered. My business partner and I worked with Misty, Stephen, and Aaron to spread the word about our small business. They created a series of three videos, along with still images, that told our story in a unique, personal way. I consider it a privilege to have worked with these professionals! They spent time with us before, during, and after the process to make sure that they got it right. These folks truly cared about us and the story we wanted to tell. They're not only technically skilled with regard to video production, but also skilled in the art of communication and listening. Highly recommend!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices range from $30 to $50 an hour depending on the job. I can work on a sliding scale once I have an understanding of the client's needs and budget. Our goal is to provide top quality solutions to people and businesses who cannot afford large agencies.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I find out a new client's needs, scope, budget and vision for their project and then make a proposal out of that process. My team and I have acted in may capacities to serve our clients: acting as consultants, producers, directors, photographers, editors to accomplish the needs of our clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 20 years experience in the field having worked with everyone from sole proprietors, to musicians to Harvard University. I have a BA in telecommunications and media from Baylor University.
