Brett Stephen Private Chef and Catering

Introduction: I have been cooking professionally for over 13 years. I've worked in a number of restaurants learning different technique and flavors ranging from Thai and Japanese to Fine dinning, and wood fired California cuisine. I studied culinary arts at Santa Barbara City College. I focus on using local produce, meats, and seafood from Santa Barbara County. After over a decade of working in restaurants I took my first full time job in the catering industry, working for one of the finest catering companies on the central coast. I enjoy the unique challenges presented by every event, the problem solving involved in feeding people in different venues. And of course the most gratifying part of my job is the satisfaction in someones eye when they truly enjoy an amazing meal.
