Kitty is a really sweet, caring stay at home dog boarder. I have a scard dog and she loved the small chihuahuas at her place. I would return.Mar 29, 2018Verified
I found Kitty to be one of those people who animals just respond to. My cat was comfortable with her from day one. I was gone for almost three months. Kitty text me often, sent pictures and kept an eye out for anything out of the ordinary. She came through for me every time. I don't hesitate to recommend her services to anyone who wants the assurance of reliable quality care.Jul 15, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?A basic visit is 19.00 for a single pet. The additional charge for more pets depends or the type (dog, cat etc) and the amount of pets. Overnights are 60.00 per night and Boarding is 35.00 per day for one dog. There is an additional charge for shots and Sub Q's which is 10.00. Pilling is free unless there is a few and it takes longer to do in the typical visit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A customer will contact me with details about what kind of pets they have and what kind of care they are looking for (visits per day, length of visits, location, and any medications or special needs) as well as dates of services. We will then set up a "meet and greet" to meet the pets and owner to see if it is a good fit for our services. We see how the pet does with us, and we walk through feeding instructions, medications, routines and care information. We sit down and show the customer our client packet, discuss logistics (emergency contacts, veterinary information, keys) and we have them fill out paperwork and collect keys. Then we are good to go!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been working in Colorado for the last 5 yrs, but have been caring for animals for over 20 yrs. I am experienced with giving Insulin shots and Subcutaneous Fluids to pets as well as pilling. Learning is a lifetime event, I learn something new about caring for pets on a daily basis.
