- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Being a professional pet sitter, I am bonded and insured. This provides an added comfort and protection for my clients. My rates are reasonable and competitive. My company offers a price per visit. The priced is dependent upon the length of the visit. Depending on location, a nominal fee may be necessary for travel. There are no additional fees for an extra pet or medication, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will set up an initial consultation to meet the new customer and pet(s). This allows us to discuss the needs and go through the routine. Please note there is a $15 consultation fee.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of Pet Sitters International. As a member, I have access to numerous sources of information and educational material. I also have an equestrian business and personally own many other animals - dogs, birds, cats, a guinea pig and yes, many horses. Caring for these animals during healthy times and sick times has provided a wealth of knowledge.
