Introduction: I am a professional dancer and instructor with more than 10 years of experience. I am trained in classical ballet, jazz, salsa, belly dance, and American rhythm. As a professional salsa and ballroom dance choreographer and performer, I have participated in various salsa dance competitions, Latin dance festivals, fitness infomercials, dance workout DVDs, and television shows, including the world-renowned FOX dance series, So You Think You Can Dance. In 2010, I became TOP four female finalist in SYTYCD, season seven. Dancing is my passion, and it is what I enjoy doing the most. My job is to educate, support, and provide my students all the necessary tools for them to learn a dance and be successful in reaching their goals. I love to see my students learn and grow. I design and facilitate my dance classes to target my student's individual needs. I cover all levels and ages.

It was such a pleasure to learn from Christina. Even though we had just met, it was not long before I felt comfortable with her and could really see the improvements in my salsa skills, all while really enjoying myself. The years of experience she has are obvious, but even more remarkable is how well she gauges what you know and how fast you are learning to cater the lessons specific to you and your goals. We worked with Cristina in preparation for our first dance for our wedding. We had an absolutely amazing time with her! She choreographed a dance to 2 songs we blended together, and was great in working with our learning styles and dancing level. Cristina is very charismatic, enthusiastic, and has great energy. Amazing!!! I have been a salsa wall flower for years admiring friends dancing this great style of dance and really felt it was not something I could do. So I finally gave into the constant pressure from friends and signed up for a lesson with Cristina!! Wow we were dancing a full salsa in a half hour. Cristina really broke it down and now I’m hooked.
