The first is my expertise in all things relationship—with your personal relationships as well as at your workplace. I have been married for 50 years – to the same man. (It’s amazing to me as well.) The second is my expertise in public speaking. I have been a Toastmaster for over 25 years and have a Distinguished Toastmaster and Qualified Speaker designation, and am currently co chair of the District One Speakers Bureau. So when you want to speak about what’s important to you, I can help you express yourself clearly, effectively, and with confidence. There is one thing that I enjoy particularly about my work. I really enjoy turning my clients’ mentality from victim to victor. There are simple things that my clients learn to do that bring happiness back into their personal relationships and at their workplace as well. Merle is very concise in her instructions. She is the type of person who can think problems through carefully, then go right to a good solution. And her solutions are not just band aids to put on a problem, particularly as it has to do with relationships, but real solutions that can help you in your workplace, with your friends, or with those people you may work with occasionally on a committee or in other groups. Since I have my own business and work at home, I don't deal with employees or other people around me, but Merle's book has helped me tremendously in dealing with people with whom I come in contact in clubs or groups that I participate in. I attended her workshop, Navigating Relationship Stress in the Workplace. It was amazing! I did enjoy it a lot and learned a lot. The "Change" was super intriguing. I could see my work place and my relationships with coworkers differently after her workshop.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I think it is important that people get the help they need when they are seeking it. If a discount will make that possible, I am open to that.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new customer is to have the client express their problems and what they would consider a good solution. Then we work together to get to that solution.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS and MS in education with experience in curriculum design so that I have been able to design a course, 3 Steps to Transform Your Relationship Experience. Also, I have a DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster) indicating my accomplishment in leadership and communication and I am a QS (Qualified Speaker) . I am also Chair of Speakers Bureau in District One Toastmasters.
