I worked with JD during my MS Industrial & Organizational Psychology class which included a course Quantitative Analysis and Reasoning and required SPSS use. JD did a great job helping me understand many of the concepts I was struggling with. He has an advanced knowledge of statistics and research methodology. Make sure to be honest with him. If he gets to deep into a topic or speaking at a level you are not at he can back up and restate it so you can grasp the concept.Jun 28, 2017Verified

JD is a pleasure AND a statistical wiz! I consulted him on an appropriate method for comparing two behavioral models to be presented in an academic work. He took the time to read up on my research, clarify my approach, and discuss the implications of the statistical analysis. I was very impressed with his thoroughness and ability to clearly explain his recommendations. I learned a great deal from our tome together and plan to engage his services at the end of my study to ensure the process we designed was implemented successfully. I highly recommend JD for your research needs.Feb 19, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I generally price by the hour, depending on what's needed. I can also work out a fixed-price service if that's desired.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We start with a general orientation conversation, in which we discuss the problems being encountered and what I might be able to help with. I then let the client identify specific needs, and we establish a schedule for help, if needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a PhD in organizational psychology from the University of Michigan, where I studied advanced statistics and research methods. I've taught these subjects and many more at seven different universities, and worked with hundreds of students over more than 25 years. I've published about 75 research articles and presentations. I've worked with RAND Corporation on many major research studies.
