FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While I do have packages available, I can also build packages around my clients needs, and since this is a bidding website - I do keep my prices flexible. Also, there are some features I keep standard for each client regardless of the package; 1. You always get edited photos: Photos you receive will always be edited for color correction, contrast, and brightness. Often, I will apply filters that mimic film, and pick a few choice photos to convert to black and white. 2. You get a private gallery: With every event I photography, your digital download will come in the form of a viewing gallery, which will let you do all kinds of fun things. You will be able to download your files in different sizes, share the gallery with family and friends, favorite photos, and even order paper, canvas, and metal prints of all different sizes! 3. My wife and I photograph nearly everything together, as a team - which means that you will have two professional photographers, with years of experience, at no extra cost. For more information about specific packages I offer, please check my website.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When speaking to a new client for the first time, I start by talking about myself; I explain my style, background, and what the client can expect in terms of a finished product. I then ask for the clients expectations, and what they are hoping to walk away with. Once we see eye to eye on expectations, we talk logistics and planning, and eventually we each can walk away confident that the photo shoot will go by smoothly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My wife and I, who usually photograph events together, both have a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from UC Riverside. Other training for myself includes working as a photo assistant to a advertising photographer in LA, and a photo journalist in Washington DC. I have been freelancing on my own for five years.
