Introduction: My teaching is intuitive precise and fun. I have spent years learning how to do the most simple to the most advanced yoga poses with skill. I know the poses backward and forward, inside and out, and can break them down to set you up for greater success in the poses. You will leave feeling open and empowered.
I enjoy working with and getting to know the people I work with. Seeing the progress of my students is the most rewarding thing about the work I do.

Nichol is a great yoga teacher and a yoga nerd. I have taken her advanced and mixed level classes. In mixed level classes she gives plenty of options for various level students, carefully monitors alignment, and looks out for students' safety. Her advanced level classes usually are geared toward getting a specific pose; she usually practices with students. She is awesome in both formats, I recommend you give her a try. Added bonus - she is incredible in back bends (not just doing them, teaching them too); if you happen on a back bend class, you will see some astonishing demos. Did I forget to mention she sings too? You get some darn good Opera during savasana.

Nichol Joy Chase is aptly named because she brings Joy to every class. The poses she goes after may seem hard to achieve until you are in the middle of class and you realize you are actually doing it! The knowledge she brings and instills in her students is very rare. I leave class not only knowing that I made progress in my own practice but that I learned something along the way. Nichol is not a yoga instructor she is a yoga teacher and the true difference is seen when I go home and realize she taught me how to get back into the advanced poses she demo'd all on my own.

Nichol is an exceptional teacher. Her classes are precise, accessible, logical, and always challenge you to go further than you did before, in a safe way. Not too serious and not too silly, always fun and inspiring, she always warms you up properly before inviting you down an asana path you might not have thought you wanted to go down. I am a very fussy student and I know what I'm talking about. Plus, there's always a lovely serenade during savasana!

Nichol is honestly the best yoga teacher I have ever studied under. She is comprehensive in her approach to class so instead of just yoga pose after yoga pose, a student gets an intense class that leads to improvement of ones practice in many levels.
