Bill came to my home to repair my laptop. He was very friendly and professional and explained to me everything he was doing as he worked on the computer. While Thumbtack has led me to some great professionals over the years, I cannot think of anyone I’ve worked with through Thumbtack I would recommend more highly than William Avellan. With his level of computer troubleshooting skill, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile, it’s literally like you’re hiring Superman to come to the rescue — in my case, to bring back my computer from “the grave,” retrieve critical files that would otherwise have been lost for good, and get me & my computer back up and running in a hurry. Long story short: William Avellan not only “saved my ass,” and provided me with a crash course/masterclass in IT (at a ridiculously reasonable cost) but in the process saved me dozens, of not hundreds, of additional hours of time and heartache. I am eternally grateful to him, and would recommend him to others to the degree of suggesting: If you DON’T choose someone of his talent to work with when that dreaded blue screen appears in your computer, then in fact you may need to have your head examined as well as your computer! Well done, Mr. Avellan - brilliant job, and many MANY thanks!!
