From the BEGINNING of planning our wedding, I knew that the first thing I had to do was get help with it. I needed someone who was helpful, kind, hardworking, creative, organized, experienced and knowledgeable in all things weddings because I did not have a clue in where to start. I spoke with a few people from various companies vying for my business, but from the first moment I spoke with Dan, I could immediately tell the difference in how efficient & knowledgeable he was in wedding planning and coordinating. He explained everything very nicely so we could understand. From the start, Dan was so helpful and an expert in all things weddings so we knew we were in great hands. Let me begin by saying that I was floored by the level of organization, efficiency, and genuine helpfulness of Dan + Creative Happens went above and beyond bring my wedding vision to life, ensuring every detail was not only included, but exceeded my expectations. All the moments of Dan’s suggestions & collaborations, I am so grateful for- especially on the day of our wedding, when so many things could’ve gone wrong, he made sure they happened & made everything right. Thank you so much for suggesting the first look - we recently lost our fur-baby (our dog & best friend of 14years) - and having her be a part of our first look meant the world to us & these are memories that we will genuinely cherish in our hearts forever. We were able to eat, drink and be merry/married. And we actually got to enjoy our special day thanks to Dan and his taking care of us as a couple. When I say you’re in great hands and taken care of, I really mean it. I rarely do reviews but I needed to take the time to do one for Chris. I could’ve not asked for a better coordinator. He made my wedding day go smoothly and helped take alot of stress off my shoulders! He was patient with me and made sure I was good at all time!!! We had a great experience working with Daniel to help plan our wedding in Long Beach in September of 2023. We booked him about six months before our date and he jumped right in to start getting details lined up for the big day. He was very responsive to our questions throughout the planning process and was able to offer both good advice and connections to other quality professionals (like bartenders). Daniel really shone as our day of coordinator. He had created a detailed timeline that helped us maximize our time on the big day and worked with our other vendors to ensure they knew how everything fit together. He checked in with us several times to see how we were doing but was also able to handle a lot of things for us so that we could spend more time with our guests and enjoying our own wedding. Would 100% recommend!!!

Our Creative Happens coordinator, Devon, was SO instrumental in the success of our big day! First of all, CH was a relatively last minute addition to our wedding team when we lost our previous coordinator. They jumped in and were so efficient in catching up on all our details, and with just a few phone calls, emails, and a venue walk through they were fully set to deliver on the day. That really speaks to their profesisonalism. We had a strange wedding with unconventional setup and schedule, which really required flexibility and intelligence on Devon's part. Also, there were a few last minute "fires" that Devon put out with ease. Everything went off perfectly, and we couldn't have done it without her! I can't recommend CH enough!

This past Saturday 4/22 my now husband Josh and I had the absolute best experience with our wedding coordinator, Denise. She made our day go so smoothly that we could not imagine our day without her help! Our friends and family were raving about her the next day, saying she was excellent constantly seeing if the guests needed anything and making rounds, ensuring that everyone was happy and having a good time. Denise was always making sure Josh and I had what we needed throughout our wedding day. If it wasn't for her, we would have missed a ton of details we just aren't thinking about as the day is going and we're having fun. Denise went so far to even help calm our 8 month old daughter through the ceremony because she was having a meltdown and we appreciated that so very much! The communication was always great from the start with Dan, who was our main connection until Denise. I can't say thank you enough to Dan, Denise, and the entire Creative Happens team! Thank you for helping us make our wedding day so special and memorable 💖

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer excellent low-rates for both "Day of" coordinating and full wedding/event planning. We're happy to send you a rate card covering our most popular package pricing. This includes "Day Of" Coordination starting at $1,250, Partial Planning Packages between $3,900 and $4,900 and Full Wedding Planning starting at $5,900. We customize the rate to best fit your wedding goals. We also offer Party and Event Coordination and Planning rates starting at $1,250 (based on the size of your event).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a customer has expressed interest in us and we decide to work together, we work closely with them to plan out their every need for the wedding or event, ensuring that when the day comes, they're able to enjoy themselves while we handle the logistics.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team of 2 Wedding Planners and 7 Coordinators have over 22 years combined experience on more than 500 weddings and events.
