she actually waited on me. NOT that I recommend you make her wait, but she did. The communication was great, she suggested places that I would not have thought of because she is the "professional". She has a great eye, patience, creativity, and personality. Great suggestions and advise. Photos turned out great, I honestly almost canceled we were tired, rushing, and sun was going in.. I am glad we did not. On a shoot I expected one or two to turn out due to our state of being nothing to do with her skills we were pleasantly surprised that a ton turned out. That spoke volumes about her work right there.. because we were looking rough. She slowed us down, got us exhaling and comfy and then she did what she did with beautiful results. I can't recommend her enough. She is flexible, fun, and talented!!

I have never seen anyone be able to use such challenging situations and come out with such brilliant work. Her style of composition and use of contrast is amazing. No over stylized filters or any of that BS that is so prevalent today. She has taken photographs that will be handed down through my family for generations to come. Truly artistic work. Absolutely amazing.

I asked for pictures for my music album. We did what I thought were just going to be test shots and ideas. The test shots were good enough all on their own. Many photographers take lots of pictures and hope they get something good. In her own words Rachel "waits for the art to happen" and she captures it. She gets better pictures in fewer shots. She is great at candid shots that capture an honest moment, emotion, expression, and feeling.

Rachel did a great job putting me at ease. She doesn't approach a shoot as a job but as an experience. She cherishes the art of photography and it shows in her interaction with her clients and the quality of the images. She took my professional headshot that has been used on my business cards, emails and website, among others. Most of all, I was comfortable with the experience. I can't wait to take more photos with her!

Rachel came to my home for a boudoir shoot. I had several options as far as outfits, so she weighed in and helped me to choose the perfect ones. She made me feel comfortable. In fact, we laughed through the entire shoot. Her creativity is off the charts and she has such an eye for capturing the most amazing and natural candid shots. She's willing to experiment and try new things and honestly my favorite photo is one that was almost deleted during the shoot. This photo shoot is an experience I will never forget and I'm so grateful that Rachel was behind the camera.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I invite customers to look at my body of work, and discuss their vision and purpose for their final product. I openly invite a new customers artistic input and vision.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in music and education. Photographing is a natural extension of my artistic expression.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been an artist my whole life. Watching my daughter grow into a beautiful young woman, I've been inspired to capture the little moments. Having her around, taking pictures came naturally. Then friends started showing interest in my work and having me capture their special moments and memories.
