Sam did some drywall work for me and did a very nice job. He communicated very well and always showed up when he said he would. It was obvious he took pride in his work and wanted to please the customer. Highly recommend.Jul 26, 2018Verified

Sam knows his craft! He did an excellent job finishing drywall in a large basement remodel project we are working toward completing. Very dependable. We have already asked Sam to look at other projects for us. Ralph Severson Flooring Masters & Professional Remodelers www.FlooringMasters.com 812-944-6383May 26, 2018Verified
Sam hung, finished, primed and painted the drywall my finished basement. He completed the job in the time frame we discussed in the beginning and did fantastic work. He was very trust worthy and easy to work with. I would highly recommend Sam's work, and will tell my friends.Mar 24, 2016Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first process would be meeting with them at the job site to look at the project. While there taking measurements and learning of the project from the customer, I will answer any questions the customer has. For example, if they customer wanted references, previous work photos, etc. After leaving the site, I create a pdf of the estimate and email it to the customer. If hired, I schedule dates that best fit for the client and give an estimate of how long the work will take. When the job is complete, I print an invoice and give the client a copy and receive payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I graduated magna cum laude in the Honors Program at the University of Louisville with a B.S. in biology. While this degree is not related to contracting in the literal sense, I use many tools and lessons from college in my business. From critical thinking, meeting deadlines, problem solving, and studying/learning new material, I use my degree everyday. In addition, I have over 12 years experience in the field. When not working, I enjoy reading many articles/magazines related to contracting and skilled trades.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?My father has run a painting business for over 30 years. I started painting when I was 12 to start saving money for a car. Over the years I worked on and off learning as many trades as I could.
