Handyman installed new kitchen faucet well as requested, however the water-main valve was leaky and he didn't find a need to repair it

The main shut off was not leaking when open full or off., only in between open and off. I advised this client to call if any leak noticed. I guess he would rather post bad reviews save money on a repair not needed.

This experience was an absolute diffent one! When he arrived about almost an hour I'm assuming into the job he figured out he couldn't fix the faucet leak. He would be back the next day around the same time with his friend that has been in the business for 40yrs. So the next day he arrived he was by himself with no friend. Me and my fiancé noticed some new tools I forgot to mention he had trouble getting the middle handle off in the bath tub. I notice he bought a seat wrench and plumbing wrenches which I had I do know the basics I just couldn't get the valves off so that's why I I used thumbtack! Anyways he did get the valve off change the rubber washers and was also going to change the seats but didn't have the right size! So I have a WUT I call a big clear jar full of nails, washers, screws what nots that me n my dad has used in the past so I happen to come up with 1 box of the seats that fit that wasin the box #28 ! He needed another so he went to the hardware store didn't have one he said went to another ! Anyways on n on ! He didn't fix the leak! He had to leave n go give an estimate in new Albany! He would be back with his friend ! Tomm ! Me n fiancé work 3rd shift at UPS a very long time so we have patience ! He calls back round 2:45 says their on their way! They show up15 minlater oh my !! What an experience ! I don't have time ! Arguing back n forth so unprofessional !! Asked if we had materials! They did fix the problem well his friend did I think most of it . The leak is fixed around 5:30pm we did not got any rest hardly cuz we was in shock of tools dropping in my tub on the floor, my plants tipping in the front yard neighbors watching, the way they were bickering at each other!! Now today is Sunday they finished the job on Friday5:45. It was suppose to be done on Thursday he arrived 9:30am) a leak coming from a faucet in a bathtub he was fixing! The charge 124.36$ I asked for a receipt he said he thought he wrote 1 up i said ok.they left he came back knock on the door we were in the kitchen and we said come on in he said here's the receipt I'll lay right here I said ok ! I'm taking a pic of it so you all can see it! I'm very disappointed! The other receipt is to the plumbing place which I'm very familiar with but if u can remember I gave him one of those seats!! And the hours he took of our time for a leak

We're small jobs specialists. Hourly billing is $35 for the first hour. If the job takes longer it's only $20 for each additional hour. You should not hire bigger projects by the hour. We can provide a firm quote for labor and materials once we view the project and determine materials desired.

Most important is to determine what the client wants and what they expect the contractor to accomplish. Once we agree what is to be done, we can schedule a start time convenient to their schedule and estimate a completion time.

Served as a claims adjuster for a major insurer ( You must know how to build a house to know how to repair damages) Previously was an estimator for local construction/remod-eling company.
