- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet or talk on the phone with each client several times before the event. I try to gather as much information and details of my clients needs to ensure I will deliver the product they wanted. The proofs will be ready a week after the session, for weddings is approximately three weeks. My favorites photos are post on my blog or Facebook page a day after the event. All the photos are professionally edit before the client see them. I do on studio presentation of the digital images. The final product will be available two weeks after the order is place, wedding albums take month and half to be ready. I do offer digital files as well as prints, albums and books, video slideshow, colleges and fine art canvas. My style is photojournalistic combined with formal portraits. I always try to capture the essence of my subjects. providing my clients with a portrait that represent who they really are.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduate from Jefferson Community College with a degree in Communication Arts Technology, specialized in comercial photography in 2005. I have been working since then as portrait and wedding photographer.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working as assistant to several stablished photographers in Louisville, Kentucky. I also worked in a portrait studio as an intern as part of my degree requirements, until I started working on my own. I continue my education and training every year. I go every year to photography conferences and training with WPPA and PPA. I have been a member of Professional Photographers of America. They provide training and support when is needed as well as insurance.
