FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually with a first time client I arrange a phone consultation so they can learn more about my process, the services I offer and we can get to know each other. I give gentle prompts to my clients to help with posing and feeling comfortable in front of the camera. I focus on interactions between people, movement and authentic expressions when I photograph. After the session, I edit the best images from the session and deliver them to the client in a private online gallery with printing rights so they can download the images onto their computer, print images and also share the gallery with family and friends.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is in art education. I taught high school art and photography, which led to a deepened love for photography. I have worked for over 5 years as a wedding and portrait photographer.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do not go with the person offering the lowest price. Choose a photographer that has a photographic style and personality that resonates with you. Also, take time to review the photographer's portfolio/website and select someone with consistent work.
