Introduction: I currently hold a 4th degree black belt and certification as an instructor in Tiger Rock Martial Arts. In addition, I've earned the title of World Champion 6 times. I've been teaching since I was 15 and training since the age of 8. I recently left my job as manager and full time instructor at an academy in Texas and have moved to Louisville to start a new chapter. I love working with children of all ages and hope to open my own academy one day. Depending on the age of the student, the private lessons will range from 30 minutes to 45 minutes. Looking forward to working with you!

Taylor Acosta is one of the best instructors we’ve ever had. Kind, patient, student focused, knowledgeable and precise, everything you want in any instructor especially martial arts! She takes teaching seriously and my daughter has excelled under her tutelage. If only everyone had instructors like her!

Ms. Acosta has been amazing with our daughters journey with Martial Arts. She is firm and tough which pushes the girls to succeed. Yet, she has a way with all the kids that make them run up to her before and after any class with hugs and thank you’s. Our daughters TRUST her and know that even in helpful critiques that she only has their best interest and goals at heart and in mind. She makes the kids listen and expects discipline but makes classes fun at the same time! Our whole family thinks the world of her.
