FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have predefined packages for each type of session. However, I'm happy to customize the price to your individual situation when needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I follow a 3-step process with each customer, new or returning: 1. Planning. It is also very important for me to understand your vision and wishes for the session so that I can make sure to meet and exceed your expectations. That’s why every session begins with a planning questionnaire, followed by tips on what to wear. 2. The session. I offer gentle guidance that helps you look natural, not posed. Instead of a fixed smile and awkward posing. I create authentic photographs in which you look your best. Even if you are camera-shy, with me, you’ll forget about the camera in no time. It is important to me that you have fun and enjoy the process. 3. Image delivery. In most cases, I deliver final edited images within 7 days for a portrait session, up to 3 weeks for a wedding. I constantly expand my skills and perfect my process to make sure that I serve my clients in the best possible way. That's why you can also expect to receive a survey a couple of days after your final images.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I got a Bachelor's degree in Psychology of Management, which helps me ensure a great customer experience. I completed numerous photography courses and workshops from different schools, including University of Hawaii at Manoa Outreach College and The Honolulu Museum of Art School, when my Navy husband was stationed in Hawaii. The best teacher was my experience, which is 5 years and counting.
