Lynchburg Landscaping did a fantastic job on a backyard fire pit/retaining wall project. They installed a dry stacked, natural stone retaining wall, a natural stone fire pit, a crushed stone patio, some boulders for seating around the fire pit, and a number of plants and stones around the border of the space. From the very first consultation, I felt that they understood the vision I had for the space and made some fantastic suggestions for getting the look that I wanted. Once they got going, the project moved along rapidly and everything looks great. They had to drive through my neighbor's lawn to bring in the heavy equipment and all the stone. After the project, they laid down some sod and grass seed in the areas of my neighbor's property that were damaged. I am thrilled with how the space looks, and my neighbor was really happy with how they addressed his concerns both before and after the work. As for the price, the project was not cheap, but considering the quality and scope of the project I would say it was a great value. I got quotes from a couple of different places before settling on Lynchburg Landscaping. It came down to 2 companies that I was confident would do the work well. LL's quote was about 10% cheaper than the other company and their project plan involved a lot of extras like the boulders and plants that the other company was not including in their estimate. I would highly recommend them.

The Lynchburg Landscapes team was great to work with on our outdoor renovation. The design was much more creative than other companies and catered to our “low maintenance/deer resistant” request. We love how they incorporated natural stone into the project including stone stacked walls, boulders and river rock. We had a few minor changes along the way and Scott was more than willing to accommodate our needs. We Highly recommend this company. The pricing was moderate to high but the service, crew, and end result was better than we expected. We have used another company in town that is pricier but did not receive the same service or end result. The crew was not as polite or professional as the other well known company.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
THE PROCESS: Initial Meeting - Our landscape designer will discuss yourproject scope and budget with you to determine if yourproject requires a design. We will also provide you with a landscape design questionnaire to help with the process. Design - If your project requires a design, we will provide you with a landscape design agreement form and the fee for the design. Installation Proposal - After the final design has been agreed upon, you will be provided with a detailed description of work to be completed along with an itemized list of materials for you to review and approve. Installation - Once we have received your signed proposal along with full deposit for work to be completed you will receive your installation date, any necessary permits will be obtained and your materials will be ordered. Once we have completed the project we will conduct a final walk through with you. During this time you will be presented with a copy of your design, installation contract, care guidelines and warranty information. Maintenance - We provide landscape maintenance for your convenience. Since we know your project from start to finish we would like to keep it beautifully maintained for years to come. We provide mulching, bed maintenance, and pruning to name several. In addition, we also offer seasonal flower rotation, outdoor lighting, landscape enhancements and snow removal.
