FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a realtor, I don't get paid until we close on your home. As a seller, you will typically be paying both the listing agent's and buying agent's/selling agent's commissions. As a buyer, you generally don't owe anything to your realtor for their help as it's usually covered by the seller at closing. Commission can be a hard topic for customers to discuss with their realtor. Have questions? Contact me today!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a buyer I will generally invite you to my office for a 45 minute sit down discussion in regards to what you are looking for in a home, the home buying process, and more. After our session is complete, I will set you up on an automatic home watch search that will send you available homes within your search criteria. As a seller I will typically meet you at your home to take a tour, share comparable properties, and share my marketing plan. At this time, we can also go over listing paperwork and get your home on the MLS within 24 hours of our initial meeting.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After working in property management for 5 years, the real estate industry felt like the next step up. I am a second generation real estate professional and love what I do.
