FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally adhere to a fairly standard pricing system. For a typical home inspection, it will run around $300, depending on square footage, additional outbuildings, and add-on services. Badger Home Inspections also offers Radon Gas testing for an additional $100, but if purchased at the same time, there will be a package price of $375.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love working with new clients, especially first time home buyers, because they typically get the most out of an inspection. I tend to take additional time with these clients and carefully go over each and every system of the house, and answer any questions that they may have. New home buyers typically have little to know experience with service panels, plumbing, roofing, or even the required maintenance that comes along with their new investment. Also, as a free gift, I supply new homeowners with a full colored booklet that describes the different systems of the house, maintenance tips, and even general life expectancy of various components.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a trained and certified member of InterNACHI, or the Internation Association of Certified Home Inspectors. I have more than 10 years of construction experience as well.
