I offer: 1 on 1 private training, couples training, small group training, in home training, video based online training. Certifications: CNT Level 2 USAW Level 1 Crossfit Level 2 Russian Kettlebell Club Level 1 Precision Nutrition coach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu purple belt & 10 years boxing and kickboxing experience I have 12 years of experience training clients using bodyweight exercises, kettlebell exercises, olympic lifting and various barbell exercises, and yoga and various recovery methods so you are ready to go the next day. I also have 10 years of boxing and kickboxing experience and enjoy holding pads for my clients as many clients like to punch something every once in awhile and enjoy it as a conditioning component. My approach is longevity focused so that this is something you can do whether you are 25 or 65. I enjoy teaching people to move there bodies in new and different ways so that they are able to maximize there physical freedom. When you truly enjoy the workouts they can be something you look forward to and something that will improve the overall quality of your life. Whether it be walking on your hands or getting down into a full squat to play with your son or grandson, I can and look forward to helping you achieve your goals. I enjoy helping people improve the quality of there life through movement, nutrition, and sleep.

Liberty possesses a unique ability to teach basic skills, as well as the ability to create high level programming specific to each individual athlete's needs. He has extensive knowledge in functional body weight exercises, Olympic lifting, movement, yoga and nutrition. I've been impressed not only with his emphasis on technique, but also with his focus on movements and exercises designed to increase mobility and alignment, and prevent injuries. He has extensive experience in working with people of all athletic abilities. If you are looking to push yourself and have fun, I highly recommend training with Liberty Hodges.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I offer one free consultation and after we can communicate how you would like to move forward so there is no pressure up front so sign up. The consult can be a light workout while we go over any questions we have for each other or just meeting at a cafe to talk, completely your preference. I prefer to keep things very laid back and just to get to know each other first. Your fitness journey is very personal to you and It is important to me that you feel completely comfortable with me.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have been doing personal training for over 9 years now. Doing various internships at functional fitness gyms and traveling and doing various certifications. I have 4 years experience coaching and programming at a Crossfit gym where I coached both general classes as well as Olympic Lifting specific classes. I am constantly learning and relearning and truly enjoy it.
