Introduction: I am vivacious, observant, understanding, mindful, aware, compassionate, curious and a life-long learner. I am Puerto Rican. I love people. I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese. I am an experienced translator and interpreter. I am fascinated by human complexity and by how robust and resilient we truly are. This fascination with our psychology made me study Literature! WHAT?! YES... Literature. Books are one of my greatest passions because there you can study society at another level which, in many occasions, supersede reality. On the other hand, books deal with trauma and grief, with how to live in the world managing different kinds of losses, wants and needs. Books forced me to become aware of my journey and existence with all that being mindful and aware entails. This profound interest in healing societal and cultural traumas led me to work with hospice and to do some work as a grief support specialist.
By day, I work as a language instructor at the university level. There I support my students in developing their critical thinking to reflect upon the world and on themselves. I also work with hospice as I develop my practice. On my free time, you will find me reading, singing my heart out on #Smule , crocheting, spending time with my family and friends or just trying something new.
In my coaching practice, my main purpose is for clients to break through the obstacles that hold them back in life. With my unusual background, my extensive readings and intellectual preparation, my knowledge, my life experiences, and my training, I bring lots of resources and ideas to the coaching experience that I provide. By asking the right questions and empowering you with the proper tools and techniques, I will support you to take action in the pursuit of your goals. Life is too short to be unhappy or unfulfilled. I cannot wait to support your evolution!
The most exciting part of my job is definitely seeing people thrive on their understanding of themselves and others.
