Introduction: Hard work and determination in helping people accomplish their building needs, unique projects are my favorite, customizing to what my customer wants and the gratification of seeing a job well done.
I enjoy watching a dream turn into reality, my children and I built a log cabin together and the excitement on their faces throughout the whole project was priceless. For mother's day I built my mother a pantry over her stairs utilizing wasted space and making life easier. This chance for my wife and I to work together as a team in starting our business for a better life for our family. I have been a structural iron worker for the last nine years, reinforcing buildings and homes, before that in 2008 before the housing market went south I was building houses, decks, fences, framing basements, built a carport into a garage. I enjoy seeing the end result and happy customers.

Kelan Loch with Loch Hard building did repair to my wood deck and placed a cold air return vent that the original heating and plumbing company did not. In fact, I have lived for 10 years with that eye sore on the front of my home...not to mention the families of mice they let into my home by leaving a huge hole with nothing covering it. Thank you Kelan for taking the time to find the vent, paint it to match my trim, being on time and making me so happy!!! I love the deck too!! Looking for more projects for Loch Hard Construction!!

I hired Lochhard to build a custom railing for a 10sqft office building. One part of the railing was for our executive office, the other part was for our warehouse/ storage.

Custom fit Strap Hinges (qty 6; cost: $120) for a wood driveway gate to metal post. Kelan was very nice and customer service was great but, the quality of the metal work was not very good. The paint chipped off very easily so I had to sand down the hinges and repaint them. When I sanded hinges down to the metal. It was already rusted and corroded. On top of this the hinges were the incorrect size. Kelan was nice enough to pick them up and "fixed" the sizing issue with rubber tubbing at no extra cost. The bolt holes were not aligned which made installing them on my gate extremely difficult. I had to re-drill the holes making them wider. I would not recommend him for metal work.
