Introduction: My number one objective is to provide customers with a wedding service that reflects who they are as individuals and as a couple. I want the couple and witnesses to feel that they have participated in something truly unique and meaningful. By day I am an English Professor. Thus, in addition to offering officiant services, I write custom vows and wedding ceremony scripts and offer premarital coaching. I am a certified life coach. I love weddings and the optimism that defines the moment when every couple says "I do." It is an honor to share such moments with others and to play a role in making them magnificent for people from all walks of life.

We were her first same-sex couple, and she's a personal friend of ours. She was lovely to work with, as always, and took pictures for us as well! Works on short notice, very accommodating to your needs, and I liked what she said about together-forever couples and marriage before the ceremony. Great all around.

Linda took the time to meet with me, was extremely communicative, and really got a feel for what we wanted for our day. The ceremony was beautifully written and performed, and it completely felt like us, not just a cookie cutter service. It was unique to us, and it was special. i can highly recommend Linda if you want a ceremony that is unique and beautiful!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base fee includes an initial consultation by phone, text, or email, travel within 50 miles, plus the ceremony. Beyond 50 miles there is a travel charge of .55/additional mile. If an overnight is required, client covers expenses. Additional services available.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll talk on the phone or via text or email. Then, once we have a shared understanding of what you're imagining for your wedding, we'll establish a game plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a Minister of the Universal Life Church. I also have a Ph.D. in English, which equips me to assist in the composition of ceremony scripts, wedding vows, etc. as required.
