Thoroughly impressed with Humberto. He managed to find an impossible fault, redid all my wiring for my outside gazebo and got everything re-installed with excellent workmanship. He is also a great guy to talk to and put up with my constant questions about how stuff works. Highly recommend Humberto and will not use anyone else.

Wow! I would and will recommend Humberto to anyone who needs electrical work. After we fired our general contractor who was to rebuild our home after flooding in Harvey, we discovered half of our outlets and switches were not working. I attempted to Google the problem and look for a loose wire somewhere but decided I needed a pro. I called Humberto, he answered right away and said he could come look at it that afternoon. He called to say he was on his way and when he got there he got right to work. He explained things and showed me where the previous contractor wired things wrong. He continued his troubleshooting, found all of the problems, inspected the rest of the work, and had everything squared away in a couple of hours. If I ever have any need for electrical work he is the first guy I will call!

I really don't have enough good things to say about my experience with DBM Electrical Services. Humberto is a direct model for how quality contractors should conduct business. I needed a rather technical job performed and Humberto was prompt to respond with a reasonable quote. He committed to call me the following day and did so at exactly the time he said he would. Upon meeting Humerto, he was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. During the performance of the project, which he did for the same amount he quoted, he gave me some pointers on how to best maintain my electrical system and answered my questions related to other aspects of my house electrical system. Humberto did a great job of the install I hired him from, was prompt, and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. I am enthused as I feel like I've somehow happened on the best electrician in town through Thumbtack and will be using DBM Electrical again in the near future. Thank you DBM/Humberto for going above and beyond and for exceeding my expectations!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The DBM Electrical services minimum service fee is $175 plus parts involved in the repair. The minimum service fee includes up to 2 hours of troubleshooting and repair. Every hour there after is $75 per. The typical service call is 2 hours on average.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Though we will never achieve perfection, we will always strive for excellence. At DBM Electrical Services we strive to maintain a safe, clean, hazard free work environment. We respect the things people work hard for and will treat your home as if it were our own. The first thing we like to establish is trust and being able to explain the job that is taking place so that the customer can have peace of mind. The customer is given 2 options. Option #1: the minimum service fee for a troubleshooting and repair visit or Option2: free on site visit and quote( usually for scheduled projects).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 18 years of commercial and residential as well as light industrial electrical experience. Throughout those years I operated well equipped service trucks for big names in the industry and orchestrated crews of electricians on large scale projects, both government and civilian. I went through 4 years of school at the Gulf Coast Independent Electrical Contractors of Houston and graduated in 2005. I obtained my Texas state masters license in 2014 and have been in steady practice ever since.
