FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of my work is charged by the session. Sessions typically last about an hour. I do offer packages at a discount. I also offer packages clients can purchase to give as gifts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all starts with the client. After a brief initial call, clients complete an on-line, confidential well-being assessment. Then, during our first working session (typically 60-90 minutes), the client and I work together to craft the client's vision and goals. Follow-up sessions lasting about 45-60 minutes are set by the client. Typically, follow-up sessions are scheduled weekly, but can be daily or bi-weekly if needed. Clients choose their individual pace. Most clients work with me to achieve their 3 month goals (typically 12 sessions).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Wellcoaches Certified Personal Coach and a Wellcoaches Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Since 2002, Wellcoaches has delivered high-impact, science-based, and innovative programs in partnership with the American College of Sports Medicine. The Wellcoaches program is an International Consortium for Health and Wellness Coaching (ICHWC) approved transition program. Successful graduates meet the eligibility requirements (for the transition phase) to sit for the Health and Wellness Coaching Certifying Examination required for health and wellness coaches to become National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC). I also have an International Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business.
