Introduction: I am able to provide marketing assistance for people who write books, as well as advice and assistance with self publishing or traditional publishing. I will sit down with you and discuss the pros and cons of each route for your particular book if you are in need of guidance there. I have spent several years researching these things and I actively work to keep my thumb on the status of the current publishing world. I have always loved reading and writing. But I think I love helping people make their dreams come true even more.

Chloe read a few different school papers for me and gave me feed back on what could flow better and what needed gramatical correction. It was extremly helpful to have a second set of eyes reciew them before I handed them in and she helped me a lot when writing papers after. Each time she reviewed a new paper it was a bit better because I recalling and using her instructions.

Chloe edited my non-fiction book. It was highly detailed, with lots of citations and my conclusions. She followed my arguments, found errors in the logic, and made suggestions towards a more professional presentation. Her response was timely and polite. She found several typos and suggested grammatical improvements. Bottom line, just what I needed and wanted.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The standard pricing system is posted on my company website at awenbooks.net and depends on the requested service.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
This depends on what you are hiring me for. With editing, I like to do a sample first. Some editors advise against this, but I find it preferable because it gives me a chance to give a more accurate estimate once I get a chance to evaluate your work. For ghostwriting, I like to meet in person or via Skype to evaluate your book proposal. Its not an insignificant investment to hire me, and I want to make sure it's a good fit before moving forward. Once the parameters of the job have been established, I like to check in regularly to let you know about my progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in political science and anthropology. I also took several courses on writing and editing. I have an Inbound Marketing certification from HubSpot.
