Introduction: Elizabeth (Liz) is brand new to Thumbtack but has been tutoring since 2009, and has provided consulting services for professionals to assist them in creating and revising cover letters, resumes and professional network profiles since 2013. Liz has a Bachelors in Accounting and Business Administration, and received her Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School. She is also a member of the New Hampshire Bar and practiced as an attorney for three years before deciding to focus on tutoring and consulting. Liz currently works with a variety of clients as described below:
For elementary and middle school students Liz tutors in areas of Language Arts, Comprehensive Writing, Reading Comprehension, and Mathematics.
For high school and college students Liz specializes in Literature, Writing or Composition, Public Speaking. Liz also provides ACT and SAT tutoring in the following subject areas: Reading, Writing and Language, and Essay Writing.
For those students aspiring to go to law school or facing an upcoming BAR exam, Liz also provides LSAT tutoring, MBE tutoring, MPT tutoring, and essay tutoring.
Finally, Liz has a vast array of experience in in consulting with professionals in the area of writing and editing professional cover letters and resumes, as well as in professional network profile design (i.e. LinkedIn).
I began tutoring student-athletes during my college years and realized that I truly loved helping other people succeed in their academic endeavors. During law school I became a Teaching Assistant for a Legal Writing professor and continued tutoring. Since then I expanded my services to include consulting in the areas of resume and cover letter writing, as well as professional network profile design. I take great pride in my work, and it brings me so much joy when my clients succeed.
