FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base my pricing off of what I would make if I was working for the competitor, I worked for selling at top price. When I worked for them I made 20% of the sale which means my prices are at 20% of what these guys will try to go for at the top price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process is I come in, I inspect the door for the customer complaints and then I will go through and explain in very deep detail. Making sure that the customer understands everything. There is no pressure, there's no fear-mongering, I do not scare my customers into buying anything. If they want to buy it, they can buy it. If they don't want to buy it, they don't have to buy it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained to another service company. Soon I was doing their warranty work because I would know more than your other techs. I have always been in mechanical repair. I worked as an industrial maintenance engineer, I have worked on heavy equipment in mines and tractor trailers here in the valley. I'm very knowledgeable and very able to fix a garage door especially when other companies have failed.
