Aaron and his team were very professional. Aaron handled the dumpster and sod delivery and had everything prepped to go on time for our scheduled date. The team transformed our horrific jungle into a manageable and beautiful backyard. He even touched up around the front with leftover sod! The before and after pictures speak for themselvesSep 12, 2018Verified
Very happy with the yard cleanup, landscaping and grass seeding that was done. His crew’s attention to detail was impressive — they went above my expectations. I already recommended them to a neighbor.Jun 10, 2018Verified
Thank you, Aaron and LeafyLawns! We just finished building a pool in our backyard and it was total mess. Clay clay and more clay that is all I remember. Aaron came to give us a quote and to look over project area. He gave us a lot of info about what he is going to do and what product he will use. Great guy by the way! His team was able to instal 2500 square feet in one day and also plant few plants and a tree for us. So far so good. Lawn looks green and beautiful. As a bonus he gave us free sprinkler which was not expected from him. Thanks a lot guys!!! P.S. Check out my picsMay 4, 2017Verified
CAUTION!!! Hire at own risk! poor advice and knowledge- using leafy lawns for their knowledge of landscape materials and success of plants post installation is risky. their knowledge and advice is completely contradictory to other landscapers. Per the recommendation of several other landscape companies, I should have removed multiple trees prior to putting down 7 pallets of grass. Leafy Lawns advised that the grass would grow fine in the heavy shade and they would be able to install new sod that would handle the yard conditions. I now have a yard that looks exactly the same as before. They have a good team of workers that really work hard and if you need yard cleanup i would recommend them. However, for any installation of a living plant i would not trust their advice!! Also caution that they will string you on for many months following an install all the while promising to come fix the install issue but never show up!Nov 28, 2017VerifiedAaron M.'s reply
Hello John Custer (of Home Depot), Your correct course of action should have been to call me at the very moment you had a problem with the grass, BEFORE you decided to take matters into your own hands and adding substances to the grass without consulting me. You also decided to add grass seed to the grass before consulting me. These are the steps i followed when I installed your grass: 1. Till the ground with a professional tiller because of the clay & sand in Georgia. 2. Added Soil 3 Hummus top soil from SuperSod. 3. Laid Fescue sod from SuperSod. We also did flower beds, mulch and a clean up. You were very happy when it was completed and even tipped us a few hundred dollars. I am not here to ever make one of my clients bad about a job we were hired for. The first two photos you attached are BEFORE pictures before we did the job (to make others aware). In all honesty, No landscaping company will warranty grass that you have tampered with. We have spoke in small detail about the project and have not finalized any details. The only reason you left this review, I feel is to extort my company and get some sort of better result but I already told you we could work it out, so I am not sure why you felt the need to leave a negative review. In closing, I am not going to be paying to have trees cut down in your yard, since this was not a part of the project. Also, you have our contact information, feel free to contact us.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I can do everything and I have all the equipment professional commercial grade to handle any job. The pricing all depends on what they want done. I know what everyone charges for the same material, flowers, wood, stone, pipe, grass. i am right in the middle not the cheapest but not over priced either.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I spend some time with the customer in their yard and really seeing everything that they need and being upfront with them. There's never no hidden costs everything is explained thoroughly at front. A lot people just want their lawn to have a few flowers, where others may want it totally redone and replaced with rubber mulch for the kids. We offer everything and work hard to explain everyone to them and hold there hand every step of the way.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I was paid as a foreman to do Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama. Lawn Care, golf courses and landscapes. Laying Sod, maintaining grounds, landscaping, maintaining golf course sod. Trimming trees, planting flower beds. laying pine straw and mulch. We also do leveling and grading. Drainage and French drains. Indian creek stones, Ponds and almost do it all.
