FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing model is primarily by the job. A flat rate of either per item or square foot, etc. Such as light fixture installation, faucet installation, flooring and backsplash installation, and many more. The exception to that would be things that cannot be easily grouped into a standard rate such as rot repair where the damage may be more severe than anticipated or jobs that atypical. I price this type of work on an hourly rate. I do provide free estimates for projects which provides you with piece of mind for the project and allows me to give you an accurate estimation of the work involved in the project. Also, being a veteran myself, I provide a discount to all veterans and first responders. Just my way of saying thank you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically when I am contacted by a customer I will provide a free, no obligation, estimate to the customer for the project. I ensure that I go over the estimate and I answer all the questions that the customer may have regarding the project. Ensuring that my customers are comfortable with the project as well as ensuring that we have a mutual understanding of the project scope.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I honestly just fell into it. I've always been good with my hands and with my background working with the corps of engineers it was a pretty natural fit.
