About this pro
Looking forward to becoming a better person.Jul 17, 2017
Sarah helped my wife and I work through some difficult issues we were facing, and she taught us how to communicate and listen to each other better. I think we did 5 or 6 sessions with Sarah and feel we got our money's worth. We would recommend Sarah to any couple in need of quality council in the LA area.Apr 5, 2017VerifiedSarah P.'s reply
THANKS SO MUCH!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? At the present moment, I am charging $85. per hour. However, my fee can be negotiable depending on number of sessions per month and circumstances. My family and I moved recently to the Marina Del Rey area of California from Florida.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I enjoy hearing and assessing the customer's concerns, goals, background history, relationship history, and support system. Then, we work and partner together to achieve the customer's goals. I strongly encourage customers to be accountable to their goals by developing specific micro-steps and goals leading toward their ultimate goals and passions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Master's Degree in Psychology from Auburn University and 6 additional Graduate courses beyond the Master's. I have over thirty years of experience in the Counseling field. I am a National Certified Counselor, a National Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, a Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor IV in California, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alabama (inactive at this time), and a trained YB12 Life Coach (e.g. Have your Best 12 months/year Ever with my coaching!). Also, I have been happily married for over thirty years and have three children, and that is additional training for which I am proud!
