I've used Tim to paint my home on several occasions. Tim paints with care and is neat while he works to assure that the job is done right. And he makes sure to clean up when the job is complete.

My experience with Tim was excellent. My wife and I are extremely picky about our home and we are perfectionists when it comes to jobs like this. As background, we have a new 3,600 square foot home and the job was to paint all of the walls and some of the trim, as well as some exterior doors. The job included some very difficult to work with colors and some tough trim work. We warned all of the painters who provided us that we expected high quality work and Tim didn't flinch. He promised he would not stop working on our house until we were 100% satisfied and that proved to be the case. The workmanship was excellent and our house was cleaned up at the end of each workday (I worked from home some of the time and I can tell you Tim and his guys often did a better job cleaning up our house than our cleaning service). Tim was alert, finding his own mistakes before we even noticed them and then fixing them. When we did discover a mistake or something that just wasnt quite what we expected, Tim fixed it with no questions asked (so many contractors and service people will try to convince you that it is what it is but Tim aimed at perfection and total satisfaction). Even when we discovered a very hard to see flaw about a week after the job was completed (and paid for), Tim did not hesitate to come back and fix it. On top of the quality of Tim's work, he is just a nice guy and very pleasant to have around the house. My toddler still misses having him around! I would encourage people to ignore the outlier bad reviews and give Tim a shot. Be clear in communicating what you want and just double confirm everything to make sure you are on the same page. Oh, did I mention that Tims price came in better than all but one estimate (and that one was a clear low ball)!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically speak with them on the phone first to set up a time to come by the building or residents that needs to be painted and then I give them a quote and then they either tell me right then and there when they would like me to begin or they discuss it and reach me later on
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 16 years in the painters union in which I went to 3 year's of trade school
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm following in my dad's footsteps I've been painting with him since I was 8 but back then he only let me tape off the baseboard a lay out the drop clothes and stuff like that
