About this pro
If I could give zero stars I would. Very unprofessional and bites off way more than he can chew. Never once met a deadline even after multiple extensions. Very sloppy. Never cleaned up after himself leaving me or my guys to do the cleanup. Expect to pay Cash only because his bootleg credit card reader and privileges are suspended leaving $8,000 of project money unusable pending investigation. Didn’t finish the job he started and walked away with THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of unfinished work. He may have a license but his time management and budgeting skills are next to zero. Would not recommend Chris Schmidt for anything especially if you have deadlines to meet.Jun 13, 2018Verified
Chris really saved us this weekend! Most plumbing companies will keep you waiting for days or never even call you back. He called me back within a few minutes, was so nice, and helped us with our new hot water heater on the same day that it broke. Even though it meant coming out to our house at 5 o’clock on Friday night. He worked with us to figure out every price option so we could stay within budget and be happy with our choice. If you are looking for a plumber with experience who knows what they are doing, I would highly highly recommend Chris. Professionalism, good quality work, Communication, and punctuality are important to me. But finding someone who is all that and also a really great person/Family man who is easy to talk to and who truly wants to help is icing on the cake. Additionally, we are in love with our new tankless hot water heater. Endless showers are the best! We were sad when the water heater busted and flooded the garage, but we are very thankful we were able to get it fixed the same day.Mar 20, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It’s always straight forward. Hourly is a flat rate and I provide a very clear bid on larger jobs so both I and the customer know what work will be performed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? That really depends on what kind of customer. For service it’s really just show up when agreed and take care of the problem. With more in depth jobs I like to put together a spec. folder so the customer can get an idea of what the end result will look like.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?PL02 - Residential specialist - license in Washington State Handyman - 5 years
