FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I want to be competitively priced, and deliver high value for my clients. They should feel like they are getting a great deal for an amazing experience!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a client decides to work with me, I partner with them to understand what experience they are trying to create and how I can help make it perfect with music and/or emcee services. I'll work with a client in their preferred contact method -- they may want to talk via phone, meet in person, or just chat over text or email. We will discuss every detail the client wants to cover, and then I'll have questions about logistics and preferences. On larger events such as weddings, we may meet or talk several times throughout the lead up to the event, to touch base and refine the details as needed. Clients can reach out any time to give me new information or make those small last minute changes!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education and training around DJ'ing is mostly self-taught. This means many hours of experimenting and playing with equipment and software, meeting and learning from performance DJ's, studying other DJ's closely to see what works and doesn't, and learning from my own DJ events by seeking feedback. I personally believe that learning is a life-long journey, so I'm sure I will continue to learn and grow!
