FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Accurate and comprehensive price quotes are important and are possible with all the right information. 1. Cabinet Design (what size cabinetry fits into your space) 2. Wood Species ( Oak, Maple, Cherry, Paint Grade etc.) 3. Finish ( Painted, Stained, Glazed, Custom Matched) 4. Door Style ( many options including customization is available) 5. Hinge style (Full Overlay, Partial Overlay, Full Inset etc.) If you have all this information available, Crownwood can provide you with an accurate price quote. If you need help with planning, please call Crownwood and someone will be able to help you with this.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Qualifying customers usually receive an initial in home consultation. Your questions and concerns will be addressed and the space you have available will be field measured. With this information, I will produce a detailed 3D design and price quote based upon your custom cabinet needs. When the pricing is accepted, I will recommend that you visit Crownwoods showroom in McAlisterville, PA so you can see all the custom cabinet finishes, door styles and accessories that are available and make any changes or upgrades. Any new information and additions will be added to your job file and your price quote and 3D design will be updated to reflect these changes. When all the information is finalized and deposit is received, Crownwood will begin the building process. When your cabinetry is completed, I will arrange to deliver them to your home. If you chose to have your custom cabinetry installed by Crownwood, the installation crew will start installation immediately. If you ordered quartz or granite counter tops, I will arrange to have those installed after the custom cabinetry installation is finished. Final payment is expected upon completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years experience in design and building custom cabinetry. Crownwood’s employees are experts and have years of training in fine woodworking.
