FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The initial face-to-face visit will be $150. This will include the time spent during the visit, time planning information for the visit (based on information I will request from you before we meet) and time that I will spend after the initial interview to come up with a plan and set of goals that will be based on information you provide. Each additional re-assessment will be $35/hour. The frequency of re-assessments will be mutually agreed upon based on severity and need.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I want to know what kind of coaching the client will be needing (health, weight management, physical/emotional nutritional issues) as well as any medications, supplements, or herbs the client is taking before we meet in person. Next, I like to meet in person to get a physical assessment (Weight, Height, Waist to Hip Circumference, etc.); interview client on specific needs and conduct a food history report (typical daily diet of client); and explore clients expectations. Based on client's food likes and dislikes, I will come up with a plan to meet their specific needs and goals. Most of the correspondence through out the month will be via email or text with periodic check-ups in person on mutually agreed dates and times. The frequency of face-to-face re-assessments will depend on severity and need.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Dietetics; I am a registered and licensed dietitian with three years of diet and nutrition laboratory/research experience; In January of 2016 I will start my Masters Degree in Health Science.
