Introduction: Located in a quaint, elegant, relaxed violin shop in Mechanicsburg, Pa. You can find Caitlin playing fiddle tunes with owner Scott Hershey, rehearsing with the Hershey Quartet, or teaching violin and viola in her studio. I teach Private Violin and Viola Lessons to students of all ages and levels. My studio is in the Hershey Violin Shop on Main Street in Mechanicsburg. I enjoy seeing each student once a week for 30 or 60 minutes. I offer several performance opportunities throughout the year as well. My studio is like my second family.

I’ve been observing Caitlin Lynch’s teaching techniques for several years now and she does a GREAT job with young and old alike. Students progress very quickly with her “one-on- one” teaching techniques. Highly recommended.

Caitlin is a joy to work with and is a great teacher. She assisted me in selecting a violin with which I have been very happy. Following the violin selection I took lessons from her the next two years. I have seen her work with all ages. She is especially great with children. Highly recommended!

Caitlin is an excellent teacher, instrumentalist and has a great way with her students. If you want your child to learn Violin or Viola, she is the teacher to choose.

It’s a privilege to recommend this outstanding musician. Listening to Caitlin play the violin is inspiring. Given her vast musical knowledge & experience, it isn’t surprising. Her lessons provide custom tailored instruction and always words of encouragement; I look forward to my next lesson.
