FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the hour. I find this works best for myself as well as the customer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I initially speak with my customers over the phone and then prefer to meet with them about their projects in person to discuss their vision. I think it is important to see the car to give an accurate assessment of the project. I enjoy getting to know my customers to better assess their needs. I provide photographs of my prior projects and can provide phone numbers of past customers for references.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was an Air Force automotive technician for 5 years where I competed numerous mechanical courses related to my work. Since the military I have had on the job experience in two reputable Speed and Custom shops in the Richmond area as a lead project manager customizing classic cars. While working at these shops I had the opportunity to attend Sikkens automotive finish courses. I also learned valuable skills from mentors along the way. I decided to open my own business in 2006 and have continued to hone my skills in these areas.
