I hired Kathryn Joal to provide care for my dogs and chickens for two separate weekends. I received her name through a referral from my veterinarian's office. Her services are top notch. She was professional, accommodating and sensitive to the animals' needs. Kathryn was presented with challenges involving caring for my dogs, as two of them have behaviors that can be difficult to manage; one refuses to come back in the house when let out into the fenced yard and the other is very frightened of new people. Kathryn was able to follow specific instructions in order to address these issues and successfully provide loving care for my dogs. I appreciated the following: texted updates after each visit; taking in our mail without having to be asked; providing feedback on dogs' behaviors and her interventions; when second visit was cut short due to our early return she initiated refund of payment promptly. I trust her with my animals because she exhibits an ability to be sensitive to their needs while still being dependable and reliable.

Our two dogs (sadly, now down to one) have enjoyed many weeks with Brenda over the past several years. They are always happy and healthy upon our return from trips--whether overnight or two weeks. Our dogs have always been extremely comfortable with her, and we highly recommend her services. She is very knowledgeable, dependable--the best pet sitter we've ever hired.

Brenda is amazing and makes me feel so at ease leaving my dog in her care. My pup Lexi has been there plenty of times. Brenda works with me on drop off and pick up times, and days. She even let's me text to check in on my pup while I'm away. Lexi always gets excited in the car when we get close to Brenda's, and always comes home with a full belly a little more well-mannered. I will never leave Lexi with anyone else as long as Brenda is in business.

Brenda genuinely cares for the dogs. She has a good understanding of what each individual dog needs while under her care. She's excellent and patient with all different types of temperaments and has good judgement to ensure dog safety. Her facility is clean and well organized. Both my dogs were always very relaxed and happy while under her care. I recommend her facility because she treats my pets (family) like her extended family and that makes all the difference in the world.

Brenda has cared for our dogs several times during the past 4 years. We have left them for one night to three weeks knowing that they will be lovingly fed, exercised and loved on while we are away. Any meds are given as needed. She is well acquainted with how to deal with medical emergencies and is very quick to communicate if there is a problem. On longer stays, she lets us know how our pups are doing. They even know when they are going to stay with her! As soon as we arrive they can't wait to see her and get settled in their private crates. We can leave then, knowing that our furbabies are happy and well. I highly recommend Mutt Luck!

Our average cost of service is $20 per 30 minute visit and $75 for overnight petsitting, including one mid day visit. These prices may vary slightly depending on distance. We never charge for administering medications or bringing in your mail.b
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will respond to your email inquiry in a timely manner and if we seem like a good fit for your pets, we will set up an in home visit at no cost to you!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are both active in the local rescue community and each have pets of our own. Brenda has ten years of experience fostering, training and rehabilitating rescue dogs, as well as kennel management and veterinary assistance.
