Dave Evangelista Freestyle Technique Training
Introduction: I have over 30 of coaching experience at all levels up to NCAA Division 1. Also, I have been an endurance athlete (triathlon), and open water swimmer participating in dozens of events up to 10 miles in length, and in all environments. My experience as marathon swimmer makes me uniquely qualified to teach the most efficient freestyle, as I am in tune with how it feels for an athlete to change their stroke.
I love hearing people's success stories, and am happy to share my two favorite stories from people I have worked with in the past.

Thank you for your genuine support in helping me swim across the lake and overcoming my fear as a beginner triathlete. I know this is not what you do every day, but sometimes you just do what the swimmer needs. I look forward to working with you to be a better swimmer. Dave was great to work with. I'm an athletic, 24 yr old male, who has played a number of sports competitively but have never learned to swim with decent technique.
Dave did a great job breaking down stroke fundamentals, assigning a number of drills for homework, and helping me fine-tune my stroke.
Am getting ready for first triathlon later this summer (just a sprint) and feel infinitely more comfortable swimming than I would have without Dave's guidance.
Highly recommend Dave for someone looking to swim more efficiently, or just feel more comfortable in the water.

Coach David Evangelista is genuine and kind. He’s the type of person you immediately will feel comfortable learning from.

As a coach of the Northeastern Swim Club, Dave guided me and hundreds of others to continued success in the pool. His attention to detail and ability to explain drills and techniques, especially for freestylers, was invaluable to the program. I personally saw tremendous improvements in my swimming (and confidence) thanks to Dave's help and feedback on my technique. Although I was only coached by Dave for 2 years, he has remained a great friend and is still willing to help me be the best that I can be!
