Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: In Oregon there are no required credentials to become a professional bookkeeper. As a result, many bookkeepers are under qualified or have low ethical standards. I am a founding member of SOBA (Southern Oregon Bookkeepers Association) and I believe in the integrity and honesty of our vetted bookkeepers. --When I was nine years old my mom said, "Be a Bookkeeper, you'll always have a job!", and she was correct. I love bookkeeping and number crunching and finding how your business fits together in the bookkeeping and tax world. –I worked in the private sector for over 30 years as bookkeeper, staff accountant, and operations manager, then in 2002 I went to SOU and received a degree in Business Management with a minor in Communications and a heavy emphasis on Accounting. It was obvious from my transcript that I had, indeed, picked the right career. –Since 2006 Rogue Financial Services, LLC has provided fast, accurate, and affordable bookkeeping and payroll services to various industries in Southern Oregon. –This is my passion and I would love to hear from you. –Darla Prevost

My experience with Darla is through 2 separate and long term employment. Both experiences included cleaning up long term financial reporting by previous bookkeepers. She is excellent at finding and correcting such problems and helping her clients to find and maintain a healthy financial status.

Darla worked for the Children's Advocacy Center for 6 years and was an intricate part of our success as a nonprofit. She was reliable, knowledgeable and dedicated to our organization. Maybe indispensable would be a better word. Her knowledge helped us organize our books and payroll so that we could juggle dozens of grants and reports. Her expertise helped the board better understand our challenges and how to best address them. Darla gets an A+ for precision, reliability and accountability. Marlene (Mish) Wagener, former Executive Director of the Children's Advocacy Center of Jackson County.
