My resume is still not a finished product. Additionally, I reached out to Joe requesting to hire him again for career counseling as I was pleased to see that was one of the services he offered beyond resume writing. We set up a time to converse over the phone where all that took place was me being led on. He asked several questions as if he was genuinely interested in assisting me and said he would do some research on my request and get back to me later in the week. I have had no contact with of any kind with him since. I have made multiple attempts to follow up asking what he needed from me to move forward and have had no response of any kind. Keep in mind, I offered to give him more money to hire him for this second service. Looking back at all the professionals that reached out to my initial resume update job, I’m not sure I made the best decision. I was impressed with the draft he sent which is why I was not hesitant at all to request another service, expecting nothing but more positive results. I still only have a draft of a resume and several unanswered emails. I would recommend you consider all your options carefully.
